SONAR can be accessed via the internet  and by using the Health and Social Care Network (HSCN) through a modern web browsers.

 

This enables all authorised staff, organisations, agencies to access the relevant data when they need it from any location.

NHS SPINE Integration:

SONAR complies with all NHS standards for accessing Patient Demographic Service (PDS), Summary Care Record (SCR), and National Record Locator Service (NRLS).

 

This integration creates less duplication, SONAR uses the  NHS Number as the unique identifier, SONAR can use and record other unique identifiers such as PNOMIS or PNC/PND numbers.

Multi-agency Approach & Usage:

SONAR can be accessed via the internet and HSCN, enabling authorised staff to access relevant data from diverse locations, such as a 4G/5G enabled tablet in a police car, a healthcare professional’s medical room or a desktop PC in a prison.

SONAR’s multi-agency approach enables all invested parties to have the “whole picture” on the needs and requirement of their case. Appropriate security, governance and access controls ensure that data is only shared with stakeholders who have the legal and authorised right to access the data.

SONAR's, real-time reporting provides all key stakeholders with, accurate and relevant data to match their service requirements.
